ASK AN EXPERT
GE industry experts answer your fleet management questions
Ask an Expert question: While I'm always in the market to supplement my fleet with a mix of new & pre-owned trailers, I've recently noticed a price increase on both new & pre-owned trailers. What's the reason?
John Muzii, Senior Product Sales Manager, answers:
Since early 2004, we have seen a steady increase in the prices of new equipment, primarily due to the rising costs of materials such as aluminum, steel, and wood. In accordance, several manufacturers have begun to issue quotes with stipulations allowing for price adjustment up to the point of manufacture. May To-Do List

Here are some things that you may want to focus on for the month of May:

Knowledge is Power
One of the advantages of having a tracking system, in addition to knowing where your trailers are if lost or stolen, is the data that you are able to gather. Analyze your trailer tracking results to look for ways to improve your fleet productivity.

The Growing season
Preparation for the summer gardening season is in full gear… be sure to add flatbeds to meet those summer garden delivery needs.
