ASK AN EXPERT
GE industry experts answer your fleet management questions
Ask an expert question: I’ve heard a lot lately about outsourcing trailer maintenance, but in order to change my company’s maintenance process I need to learn more about the advantages. Will outsourcing really save me money and time?

December To-Do List
Here are some things that you may want to focus on for the month of December:

'Tis the season of giving
If your excess trailer inventory is starting to pile up, think about selling your pre-owned trailers to those in need of equipment with GE’s remarketing services.

Planning for 2006
Now is the time to finalize planning and budgeting for 2006; focus on financing fleet additions, tax ramifications and methods of disposal for older units.

You should also talk to your Trailer Fleet Services representative now about extending the units you have on-hire or in-service into the new year.
