Mobile Solution Center at Charity Event

Fifty trucking & logistics firms gather in North Carolina for fundraiser to fight Cystic Fibrosis; event includes GE satellite tracking technology demo.

GE's Mobile Solutions Center greeted trucking executives from around North Carolina as they met to raise $81,000 for the Charlotte Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

During their morning registration check-in, golfers were first treated to an up-close look at the latest technology helping truckers and shipping companies deliver consumer and wholesale goods to local stores.

"GE's tracking technology helps truckers find and manage their trailers, saving time and money, " said Vince Gamba of GE. "Likewise, we hope the proceeds from our charity golf tournament here today will help researchers track down a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, helping save lives and enable future happiness for so many people."

Trailer Fleet Services solutions showcased at GE Day in Canada

Earlier this month GE's Trailer Fleet Services participated in a business-wide exhibit at the annual GE Day in Calgary, Canada. The event hosted hundreds of customers from all GE businesses, including Trailer Fleet Services, and showcased GE solutions through interactive exhibits and thought-provoking guest speakers.

The Equipment Services booth featuring Trailer Fleet Services, Modular Space, Rail Services and Asset Intelligence, encouraged attendees to ask, "Do you think inside the box?" Whether the "box" rides the rails or roads, or frames a modular building, GE's Equipment Services has a unique set of logistical, financial, maintenance and security solutions to manage what's inside more productively.

Unlock your cash… at this year's ATA exhibit!

This year's theme for the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition is "It's a Big Deal"… and GE's Trailer Fleet Services will meet that challenge with its largest exhibit ever at ATA.
